Tarot for Psychics!
Reading the Tarot is a wonderful mix of intuition and symbolism. It’s also a fun way to use and validate your own natural intuitive ability to read through the medium of the cards. It can be a surprisingly in-depth way of looking into an issue or topic, and at the same time do it in a bit of a lighthearted way. The techniques and insights presented in class can apply to any of the vast array of tarot cards you can find in most bookstores. For this class we will use the Waite Card Deck which has lots of beautiful symbols and is a good historic one for everyone to use.
Weekly Topics:
Each week you will get a chance to learn about the different traditional symbols of the cards and study the meanings of the major and minor arcana. This includes the 4 different suits of the minor arcana: the swords, the wands, the cups and the pentacles (coins).
You will also get to give and receive Tarot readings each week. Tarot has a long and important history as a psychic reading tool, which many of us connect to when we use them. So, the class will also include a clairvoyant reading on your past lives.
Lead with your Intuition
Let the cards speak to you. Validate your intuition: don’t try to find the ‘right’ answer, listen to you intuition and see where it carries you. Reading tarot helps you find insight and it can empower you to find a path to follow and show you what hidden or unconscious influences may control your ability to get the answers that are most your own. It can also bring you closer to having answers that are inline with your goals as spirit. It can take you out of your analyzer, out of effort and in alignment with the god of your heart!

For someone excited to explore their psychic abilities, using your intuition is what makes doing tarot readings so dynamic. There is a kind of mystical power that is contained in the special placement of a specific card in tarot, and trusting your own intuitive read of that card is the most true and insightful aspect of doing a reading. The first week you will play with the feel of your deck, and learn a simple 7 card horseshoe spread layout of the cards and the meaning of each card placement in that layout. During this four week class, along with exploring the symbolism of the individual cards, you will also get to play with and use several different card layouts, including the 10 card Celtic Cross spread, the 7 card horseshoe spread and the Goals Mockups spread. You will also get to give and receive a tarot reading with one of your class peers.

Online Attendance Policy:
- For all online attendance, it is the full responsibility of the attendee/student to have the right equipment and internet high speed connection to attend any of SIC activities.
- Tablets and iPhones are not recommended to attend classes online as they are not stable enough. Drops are very common and audio can be of poor quality.
- Recommended lap tops and other more stable computers as well as headsets with mike option.
- The teachers will not hold back a class should an attendee experience technical difficulties. For first time attendees, SIC offers a free tutorial. Contact Carmen for more information.
- If is the student's responsibility to create a home sanctuary with no distractions. Attending classes in a car, coffee shop or other public places is not suitable for online classes.
- Should the attendee/student's lack of good equipment or grounded sanctuary create disturbance for the other students, the attendee/student will see his/her mike privilege taken away, or if on Skype, will get dropped out of the class.
- We are committed to creating a sanctuary for all to find their own space and honor other's finding their own space as well.
